You feel stuck. You've tried to manage the weight of your experience on your own and it feels so heavy at times that it's paralyzing. Burdens were placed on you before you even had the chance to think for yourself. You've dealt with feeling unloved and unwanted by the people who were supposed to love you the most, and as a full grown adult- you're left picking up the pieces of your shattered self-esteem.
Maybe you've done therapy before and it felt like a waste of time... maybe you didn't feel truly understood- or maybe like you were just reliving pain without experiencing any closure.
Or...
maybe you've never done the therapy thing before. But you know something needs to change- because you've been carrying all this guilt around for too long without any support. Maybe you've considered giving up a time or two- and that's why you're here. Either way, you're exhausted. And that makes sense.
The clients I work with often feel stuck in thought patterns or behaviors that no longer serve to benefit their lives. Thoughts such as “I’m not good enough,” and “I am responsible for everything/everyone” and perfectionism efforts are often on loop. Clients contact me when they are ready to break these loops and transform their current reality into a peaceful and more aligned life.
Sessions will be tailored to fit your goals, utilizing person-centered, psychodynamic and somatic theoretical frameworks. Interventions are evidence-based and holistic, blending an IFS-informed approach, EMDR, and mindful reflection tools. Together, we use whatever resources are at our disposal to best suit your needs, history, and personality.
If you’re tired of doing the same thing over and over and not experiencing the shift you need, reach out to me to schedule a consultation. Maybe the reason why things haven’t worked in the past is because you need something different. That’s why I’m here.
