More About Me

My therapeutic approach is warm, relational, attachment-based, and trauma-informed. I believe that many of the patterns we struggle with make sense when we understand them in the context of our relationships, experiences, and the ways we learned to protect ourselves. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel deeply understood while also helping them identify patterns, build greater self-awareness, and make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.

My work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT and EFIT), EMDR, the Gottman Method, attachment theory, and other trauma-informed and relational approaches. I often work with high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, perfectionistic, or burdened by expectations, as well as people navigating relationship challenges, trauma, anxiety, depression, divorce, religious harm, and faith deconstruction.

My interest in religious trauma and deconstruction is also personal. I am the daughter of an evangelical pastor and was raised deeply immersed in the church. As an adult, I ultimately left the church and went through my own process of questioning, reevaluating, and deconstructing many of the beliefs and expectations I grew up with. That experience gives me a personal understanding of how complicated deconstruction can be: the grief, freedom, fear, anger, uncertainty, and changing relationships that can accompany it. I bring that understanding into my clinical work while respecting that each client's experience, beliefs, and path are entirely their own.
