I use Relational Cultural Theory (RCT) as a grounding for my practice, beyond RCT, I have experience using Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for managing OCD, Structural Family Therapy (SFT) for both individuals and families, Person Centered Therapy (PCT), and Narrative Therapy. I practice LGBTQIA+ affirmative counseling, and I use trauma-informed practices. I am currently in a PhD program for counselor education and supervision where I am researching the impact of Whiteness in counseling and the impact and treatment of religious and spiritual abuse.
