More About Me
I became a therapist because I believe that helping both youth and adults navigate life’s most difficult moments is profoundly inspiring. I offer sessions to both groups and individuals including teens, young adults, and adults. While I specialize in topics like religious/spiritual, trauma/PTSD, and self-esteem/self-worth, I also have a 20-year background working with students in the public education system who are experiencing suicidal ideation, self-harm, and recovery.
I have received education specifically centered around religious trauma, including: receiving my Religious Trauma Studies Certification from The Global Center for Religious Research, as well as completing various trainings from The Religious Trauma Institute. I love supporting individuals who have been impacted by religious harm, religious trauma, faith deconstruction, and recovery from high-control religious environments, in order to help clients process spiritual wounds, rebuild trust in themselves, and reclaim autonomy without shame.
I received my Master of Arts in Education and Clinical Counseling from Azusa Pacific University, and am fully licensed as an LCPC in Illinois, and an LPCC in California.
