Hey there, I am Sarah (she/they). I work with ages 16+ navigating religious trauma, spiritual abuse, deconstruction/reconstruction, identity shifts/exploration, chronic illness/pain, complex trauma, and dissociation. Many of my clients have left high-control religious environments and intellectually understand they are safe now, while their nervous systems are still responding as though the danger never ended.

My approach is integrative and trauma-focused, with a strong emphasis on stabilization, collaboration, informed consent, and honoring the protective adaptations that once helped you survive. I have completed advanced training in EMDR therapy and am currently working toward EMDRIA certification. I continue to pursue specialized training and consultation in complex trauma and dissociation to deepen my work with clients whose experiences require thoughtful, individualized care. While easing distress matters, I'm equally interested in helping you make sense of your experiences, build trust in your own perceptions and experiences, and create a life that feels authentic to your values. I believe healing means understanding how your mind and body adapted so those adaptations become options rather than necessities.
